'Day of Love a great success!

The 'Day of Love for the APL' hosted by WKKY radio personality Hoss brought in over $1000 in donations, $660 of which was from the pet photo contest. Thanks again to Hoss for all he does to help the animals!!!

The APL sets up at the mall every Saturday from 11-7, with lots of wonderful cats & dogs available for adoption. Since they started on April 10, 2004, 780 animals have been adopted from the mall location! Way to go, guys!!!

Shania is lost!!!

This breaks my heart.....Shania was at the shelter for probably a year, and when she finally got adopted, she got away from her adopters & was lost. She was lost from the Giant Eagle in Saybroook on Saturday, and was last seen today in the Ashtabula Harbor area.

I've linked to a flyer....it was sent to me by the APL & is a .pub file, which I can't open. I think maybe it is an MS Publisher file? If someone has publisher & can save the file as a .jpg or make it into a .pdf, that would be great...you can contact me at lady.senora@gmail.com. If anyone in the area would like to print copies & post them around, that would be great as well.
