Welcome!

Thanks for visiting the Ashtabula County APL blog! We need your feedback and ideas! From now until June 30th, everyone who comments will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gas card! We want to know what you'd like to see, both here on our blog and on our website. What would help *you* decide to adopt a shelter animal? Let us know!

note: to be entered into the drawing, please forward a copy of your comments along with contact info to lady.senora @ gmail.com (remove spaces). contact info will not be used for any purpose other than contacting the contest winner.

great website! it is good to see pictures of the dogs that are available. maybe you could do a page that shows the dogs that have already been adopted. i know that smaller, cuter dogs are adopted pretty fast, and i think it would help generate return visits to the website if people people could see the ones that have come through the apl. thanks!!

I run a rescue here in Ashtabula, too. I think this would be a great venue to educate the public as to what kind of conditions shelters/rescues receive the dogs. It may "hopefully" lead to more responsible ownership especially when the majority of the conditions/situations are preventable.

Please, please promote that spay/neuter program on the radio stations and on the adelphia community channel. Lord knows we need a program like this in our community!! Kudos for you to all the hard work to bring it to us!!

We adopted a dog over 2 years ago. Bear is a Labrador Retriever who we met at the shelter. We found Bear online at Petfinder and decied to go meet him. Bear has been the best friend my kids have ever had. Thank you to all the shelter staff for the great job you do.
