Marley and Maggie are a pair of Dachshund/Basset mixes who have been very shy and scared since they arrived at the shelter. To add to their woes, it was just discovered that Maggie is about to give birth! The shelter is no place to have puppies, especially for a dog who is terrified to begin with. Is there a rescue who can take this family-to-be? They need to get out immediately in order to keep Maggie from giving birth at the shelter (which, btw, is not air conditioned :(
Marley and Maggie are both about three years old, and are adorable small dogs in the 25lb range. They look exactly like a cross between a Dachshund and a Basset. I apologize for the crummy picture....I had my camera on the wrong setting.

Yes, she went to rescue in NY and has had her babies. But thank you!
Hodw about Marley?? has she been place and/or had her puppies.
